I’ll be coming to Fort Dobbs Military Timeline this year. I will be there on Saturday and Sunday. Tell your friends!
I’ll be making authentic tintypes before your eyes using the wet-plate collodion process – the same process used during the civil war. Each tintype is a one-of-a-kind original.
You can reserve a specific time to have your picture made on my booking page. There is no fee to reserve! – payment is received AFTER you see your picture. But if you have to cancel, please try to let me know!
When: Saturday & Sunday, Nov 18 and 19
Battle is at 1:30 on both days.
Location: Fort Dobbs – 438 Fort Dobbs Rd, Statesville, North Carolina 28625
Times: The earliest I can do is after morning colors for reeenactors – until the sun fades. I pack up earlier on Sunday.
Prices: Tintype prices start at $50 for a quarter-plate. I also have 5″x7″ size for $65.
Admission: $2 admission (children under 5 free).
