I’ll be coming to Fort Branch civil war reenactment again this year! I’m not sure if I will be on Sutler Row or over in the living history area…but either way I will be there on Saturday and Sunday. Tell your friends! It’s a very cool location (original fort and old cabins)
I’ll be making authentic tintypes before your eyes using the wet-plate collodion process – the same process used during the civil war. Each tintype is a one-of-a-kind original.
NEWS!! I WILL BE GIVING A DEMONSTRATION OF THE WET-PLATE PROCESS at 10:30 AM (I am guessing on both days)
You can reserve a specific time to have your picture made on my booking page. There is no fee to reserve! – payment is received AFTER you see your picture. But if you have to cancel, please try to let me know!
When: Saturday & Sunday, Nov 4 and 5
Battle is at 1:30 on both days.
Location: Fort Branch Civil War Site. 2883 Fort Branch Rd, Oak City, North Carolina 27857
Times: The earliest I can do is after morning colors for reeenactors – until the sun fades. I pack up earlier on Sunday.
Prices: Tintype prices start at $50 for a quarter-plate. I also have 5″x7″ size for $65.
Admission: ? (I’m not sure yet)
