I’ll be back at the Battle of Broxton Bridge in 2018!! I will be there on Saturday and Sunday. Tell your friends! This is one of my favorite events because it’s the first reenactment I ever went to or made tintypes at!

I’ll be making authentic tintypes and ambrotypes before your eyes using the wet-plate collodion process – the same process used during the civil war. Each image is a one-of-a-kind original.

You can reserve a specific time to have your picture made on my booking page.
There is no fee to reserve! – payment is received AFTER you see your picture. But if you have to cancel, please try to let me know!

When: Saturday & Sunday, March 3-4, 2018

Location: Broxton Bridge Plantation
1685 Broxton Brg Rd, Ehrhardt, South Carolina 29081
Map link: https://her.is/2iCPjTT

Times: The earliest I can do is after morning colors for reeenactors – until the sun fades. I pack up earlier on Sunday.

Prices: Tintype prices start at $50 for a quarter-plate. I also have 5″x7″ size for $65. For ambrotypes (on glass plates) add $10.

From the website:
“February 1, 1865 – 153 years ago – the northern army was in route from Savannah, Georgia, to Columbia, South Carolina, and the battles at Broxton Bridge and Rivers Bridge on the Salkehatchie River were the last big defensive effort for the Confederates before the battle at Columbia. Join us as we again reenact this battle on both March 3rd and 4th, 2018. Educational day is Friday the 2nd. There will be vendors with available food and wares, and the HL Hunley Exhibit will be featured again. Hosts for this event are Battery C, 32nd Georgia Artillery and 2nd Georgia Regiment Co. D Burke Sharpshooters. It is sponsored by Salt-Ketchers Chapter #6 Order of Confederate Rose, a 501 (C) 3 non-profit organization.”
