This is my first time going to Camp Milton Raid! Please tell your friends I’ll be there! 🙂
I’ll be there making authentic tintypes (on metal) and ambrotypes (on glass) using the wet-plate collodion process – the same process used during the civil war. Each image is a one-of-a-kind original.
You can reserve a specific time to have your picture made on my booking page.
There is no fee to reserve! – payment is received AFTER you see your picture. But if you have to cancel, please try to let me know!
Location: Camp Milton – 1225 Halsema Rd N, Jacksonville, FL 32220. Google Map link: https://goo.gl/maps/fssBEnMnwNw
(Note from a friend: “sometimes google will tell you to go south on Halsema. Wrong! Go north off of Beaver St (us 90)”
Dates: Saturday and Sunday, April 21 – 22, 2018
I will be there Friday during school days (Only reenactors can make Friday appointments)
Times: The earliest I can do is after morning colors for reeenactors – until the sun fades. I pack up earlier on Sunday. For spectators whenever the gate opens.
Prices: Tintype prices start at $60 for a quarter-plate. I also have 5″x7″ size for $75. For 1/4 plate ambrotypes (on glass plates) add $10.
