Charleston TinTypist

Photographic Artist based in Charleston, South Carolina making authentic handmade tintype portraits using the wetplate collodion process invented in 1851

155th Battle of Gettysburg, PA – JUL 5-8, 2018

I’ll be back at Gettysburg for the 155th in 2018!! I will be there early! Tell your friends! Commemorate your participation in this national event with a tintype!

I’ll be making authentic tintypes and ambrotypes before your eyes using the wet-plate collodion process – the same process used during the civil war. Each image is a one-of-a-kind original.

You can reserve a specific time to have your picture made on my booking page.
There is no fee to reserve! – payment is received AFTER you see your picture. But if you have to cancel, please try to let me know!
